Up-to date forest mapping of south and central taiga zones of Krasnoyarsk region using remote sensing data

One of the main aspects of the forest management is timely estimation of damage caused to forests by different kind ofnatural and anthropogenic impacts. The methodology for satellite data processing to generate vegetation conditionmaps with the help of geographical information systems is offered in this work.
