Catalase activity in the soils of urban territories of the south Far East

The determination of catalase activity were carried out in natural and antropogenic soils of Vladivostok and Ussuryisk. The catalase activity of soils in conditions of urban-pedogenesis significantly low than in virgin and agrogenic soils. Maximum catalase activity has been registered in replantozem, minimum - in urbanozems and technourbanozems. Significant influence on biological activity has the salinization of soils. The high catalase activity is typical to soil horizons, which contain the highest amount of soil organic substance.
