The category of activity in psychoanalytic studies of the personality

The fragment of analytical research of the contents of the category of activity in the history of psychology is presented in the article. A number of psychoanalytic concepts having special value for understanding the processes of psychology of the personal activity organization in life are sequentially considered. The analysis of scientists’ reasonings about the nature of activity of the personality is presented.
