The Cossack emigration during World War II in foreign historiography

The article reviews the studying of the Cossacks' participation in World War II in foreign historiography. The authors analyze the works of German, British, French and Italian researchers. It is noted that the foreign researchers have primarily focused on the following problems: participation of Cossacks in combat operations in favour of the Third Reich, relationship between the Cossacks and the Russian Liberation Army of the General A.A. Vlasov, extradition of Cossacks to the Soviet authorities.
