Border security Russia-Kazakhstan

The article considers key questions of Russia-Kazakhstan border security including drug-trafficking, uncontrolled migration, smuggling in goods and foodstuffs, terrorism, and other issues. The author concludes that Russia should solve far more complicated border security tasks than the USA or the EU should do. Thus, in this case border security could be effective only in combination with other measures, in particular with efficient regional policies.
