The article considers the phenomenon of «cyberports» as a new phenomenon that has recently begun its rapid development around the world. At the same time, cybersports is a professional or amateur activity that unites people into communities - teams, clubs, movements, the main practice of which is virtual team games. Since cybersports is the prerogative of young people, it is logical that such movements often arise around the world on the basis of higher educational institutions - universities. The article reveals certain socio-cultural characteristics of the personality and features of the life world of students-cybersports players who make up the team of Perm State University.
