Researches have shown, that the expanded clay is necessary for chilling with speed of 60 оС/min as at such cooling rate it is formed mullit more stable configuration, thus the highest quotient of design quality and high maintenance FeO. Decrease of cooling rate of an expanded clay to 10 оС/min results in decrease of quantity glassy phase and quotient of design quality, but thus increases Fegen.
