Bricks with maker's marks and inscriptions of the 17th-19th centuries from the Solovki monastery (based on materials of archaeological excavations)

Over the period of the archaeological expeditions in the Solovki Monastery(1996-2014) 13 new maker's marks were identified on the bricks of the 17th-19th centuries.The marks were classified into four groups, such as the letter marks (6 pcs); the imagemarks (5 pcs), the inscriptions (1 pcs), and the digital marks (1 pcs). Brick marks arean integral part of the monastery material culture
