Results of research the acid and osmotic steadiness of blood erythrocytes of Marsh turtle (Emys orbicularis) species, living in various climatic conditions are presented in article. The received results testify the qualitative differences of erythrocytes structure of E. Orbicularis from various populations in Dagestan which are expressed in different intensity and general duration of acid hemolysis of erythrocytes, and also in various ratio of low- and high-resistant erythrocytes. Authors bind prevalence in northern population of E. Orbicularis of erythrocytes with high acid and osmotic resistance to adaptive changes of physiological indicators of red blood cells in the conditions of more severe climate.
