This article analyzes the logic of reforms and institutional innovations of the Communist Party of China from the Third Plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 18th convocation to the Third Plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 20th convocation through the lens of Marxist state theory. The study observes that since socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era, the party has implemented a dialectical adjustment of production relations and superstructure, based on the imperative of preserving the fundamental socialist system. The paper examines the implementation of the principle of upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground in the process of comprehensively deepening reforms, emphasizing its role as a fundamental catalyst and methodological guide for advancing Chinese modernization. Analyzing the political transformations at the Third Plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 20th convocation, the article elucidates the CPC's creative application of fundamental Marxist postulates and the intensification of reforms in the economic and state governance systems. The study concludes that these transformations reflect a profound understanding of the essence of socialism and are aimed at further liberalizing and developing social productive forces, as well as advancing the socialism with Chinese characteristics.
