Chinese experience in developing a multimodal container transportation system

The article examines China's experience in the field of multimodal container transportation, the stages of development of this field from the 2000s to the present. The current situation regarding the participation of political structures, the development of transport equipment and infrastructure construction, as well as the scale of multimodal transportation in general is also analyzed. The article identifies the key problems and challenges of China, as well as the existing trends of further research and development by Chinese scientists in the direction of the identified problems.
