China-Africa natural resources cooperation serves as a critical initiative to address climate change and advance sustainable development. By strengthening collaboration in the energy sector, China and African nations leverage their respective resource advantages to establish mutually beneficial partnerships. This cooper-ation has further expanded into the maritime domain, with plans to establish a China-Africa Marine Science and Blue Economy Cooperation Center, aimed at fostering a China-Africa Blue Partnership. Such efforts not only en-hance the sustainable utilization of marine resources but also contribute to the development of a new model of international relations and the reform of the global governance system. Rooted in the principle of a “community with a shared future for mankind”, China-Africa cooperation provides a strategic pathway toward constructing a more equitable international order. This study demonstrates that energy collaboration between China and Africa has catalyzed green transitions in both regions while supporting sustainable development across the Global South. These outcomes underscore the strategic significance and global in-fluence of China-Africa cooperation in reshap-ing contemporary geopolitical and environmental governance frameworks.
