During the Civil war in Siberia, the most important centers of the resistance to the regime of A.V. Kolchak were the rebel (partisan) republics. They were formed on the basis of spontaneous actions of the peasant population against the interference in the world of peasant communities, requisitions, military mobilizations and not hidden violence. The history of the civil war in Siberia still occupies an important place in the field of scientific research, as it did in Soviet times. One of the areas of widespread mass protests of the peasantry against the regime of A.V. Kolchak was Minusinsk region, but there is still no research on the history of anti-Kolchak struggle in individual areas of the district. The history of Kizir Partisan Republic goes back to the origins of the struggle in the form of an underground movement in November, 1918 to April, 1919, including isolated participation of the inhabitants of Imis area in Minusinsk uprising. Then follows the phase of the formation and open movement in Imis taiga of the first partisan detachment of I.D. Evdokimov and S.T. Botalov in May-June 1919, the initiation of the protest movement in the phase of mass participation of peasants in connection with the Sayan campaign of the army of A.D. Kravchenko and P.E. Shchetinkin in June, 1919. The highest stage of the insurgency against A.V. Kolchak’s regime was an open armed uprising of the territory of Imis area and the activities of Kizir Partisan Republic in August, 1919-Februar, 1920. The purpose of the research was the presentation of the results of the study of local model of social and political self-organization of peasants within the borders of Imis area in the conditions of the civil war of 1918-1920. Performed work allows us to make a request for writing a monograph on the topic: "Kizir Partisan Republic (August 1919-February 1920). The model of social and political self-organization of peasants within the borders of the parish in the conditions of civil war". Further research of Kizir Republic will reveal its contribution both to the collapse of Kolchak‘s regime and to the history of the civil war in the Yenisei province.
