Classification of bank deposits as the basis factor's analysis of instruments of their attracting

This article is devoted to the consideration of various types deposit products offered by modern foreign and Russian commercial banks. An attempt is made to formalize the criteria for classification of deposit operations. Features of attraction of deposits depending on those or other classification signs are marked. The economic content specifics various types of bank deposits is disclosed. Some discourses on the differences between securities and bank deposits are reflected as a main sources of bank resources. A composite authorial classification of deposit operations of commercial banks was drawn up, based on traditional criteria. Possible perspective ways of improving deposit operations and methods of attracting funds into deposits are given.
