The classification of the chronic pain syndromes (according to Y.F. Kamenev)

The mechanisms of the origin of chronic pain depending on the conditions of its occurrence are considered in the work. The attempt is made to systematize pain syndromes taking into consideration the pain character and type. The five main types of pain are selected: tissural, articular, intraosseous, vascular and neurogenic and three characters of it: somatic, vegetative and somatovegetative.
