Classification of cybercrimes

Introduction: the article is devoted to the study of the conceptual apparatus of criminological research of cybercrime. Materials and Methods: the methodological basis of the study is general scientific and particular scientific methods of cognition, in particular, the dialectical materialistic method, comparative legal and formal logical methods. The materials of the study were the current Russian legislation, investigative and judicial practice for the period from 2013 to 2022, as well as published scientific papers on the research issues. Results: based on the analysis of current legal literature and investigative and judicial practice in cases of cybercrime, gaps in the applied conceptual apparatus were identified. Discussion and Conclusions: the author's classification of cybercrime is proposed in order to develop the domestic doctrine of criminology.
