Classification of social forecasting practices

The article presents a classification of existing social forecasting practices according to the intensity of such components as the methods used to build futuristic representations and subjects of social operation. Due to the fact that none of the social forecasts groups is capable to provide an adequate and accurate forecast of social future, the author suggests an original model of prognostic practices building, which is based on the social trans-census.
