Classification of technological innovations as a part of the management system of innovative activity in the agro-industrial manufacture

The main purpose of this article is to consider the typology of technological innovations as part of the management of innovative activities in agriculture. For this purpose, a substantiated argumentation of the key role in the development of agro-industrial production of technological innovations was presented and the peculiarities of their manifestation in the agrarian sector of the economy were determined. In the process of the research, it was found out that the most significant from the point of view of the innovation management is the classification of technological innovations into process and product innovations. For the conditions of agriculture, it is expedient to include the use of new, raising the efficiency of agricultural production, materials, the use of new planting material, improving the gene pool in animal husbandry, as well as changing production technology in the processing industries and obtaining fundamentally new products. Process innovations in the agricultural production are represented by the development and introduction of new or improved production methods, new methods of organizing the production process and managerial innovations. All presented types of technological innovations have their own specific character for the requirements of innovation management, which is directly reflected in the formation of a model of innovative activity. This specificity is largely determined by the different influence of each type of technological innovation on the growth of production, reduction of costs of economic activity, the solution of environmental and social problems in rural areas, thus predetermining the need for the formation of specific methods and methods of innovation management.
