Clustering and chimera in the spatial-temporal dynamics of populations with agestructure in the ring habitat

Бесплатный доступ

The article deals with the problem of clustering in the systems of non-locally coupled populations, inhabiting the one-dimensional ring-shaped habitat. Every single system represents a model of two-age population, and coupling represents the migration of adult individuals. We study the dependence of spatial-temporal dynamics patterns on the initial conditions and control parameters. It was found out, that each cluster can show fluctuations of different character (oscillations with different periods, or the absence of oscillations in some clusters).
