The paper introduces into scientific discourse and analyzes a series of stamps on red clay thin-walled vessels found during excavations of the Elizavetovskoye fortified settlement in the Don region in one of construction complexes dating back to the second half of the 4th century BC. Scholars tend to link such finds to measuring vessels which are rather rare for Scythian-Ancient Greek sites in the North Pontic region. These vessels are the first finds of this type discovered at the Elizavetovskoye settlement. Presence of fragments of this kind of vessels as well as lead weights discovered in various years suggest the use of a standardized system of weights and measures in trade transactions and development of not only wholesale but also retail trade at Elizavetovskoe settlement on the Don.
