Clinical therapy with sertraline of psychovegetative disturbances in patients after myocardial infarction

The aim of study was to investigate influence of sertraline on the psychological status and heart rate variability on 39 patients after myocardial infarction with depression. The results of the study showed that sertraline effective reduce anxiety and depression in medical patients. The treatment of sertraline causes elevation of heart rate variability, as good as possible for sympathetic action.
