Clinical and laboratory characteristics of patients with chronic ischemia of the colon

In the present work analyzed endoscopic and morphological signs of chronic ischemia of the colon, morphological changes in tissue components of the mucous depending on the severity of atherosclerotic lesions of the inferior mesenteric artery. The study found that, among patients with chronic ischemia of the colon, changes in the oral mucosa, characterized by the development of atrophic process is dominated by persons over 65 years of age with atherosclerotic changes in the NBA, namely: thickening of the vessel wall from 1.3 mm diameter clear opening of less than 2.25 mm, volume of blood 0,06 l/min.
