Clinical and morphological indicators of the algorithm for diagnosing respiratory lesions in COVID-19

Recently, clinical and pathomorphological information has accumulated about the manifestations of COVID-19 in most organs and tissues of the body. The number of publications in the world now amounts to thousands of articles in different languages. Domestic publications are less numerous and are mainly clinical in nature. Without repeating mainly previously published materials, in this chapter we have expanded our understanding of the pathogenesis of the interaction of the virus with body tissues against the background of a new coronavirus infection. The Eurasian Association of Therapists recently publicly presented a large review on this problem, which clearly systematized the problems of extrapulmonary pathology in COVID-19.
