Clinical-psychiatric and socio-psychological consequences of road traffic accidents (literature review)

The literature review discusses the clinical-psychiatric and socio-psychological consequences of road traffic accidents. A traffic accident may result in the death of persons or personal injury. Particular attention is paid to the risk factors of getting into traffic accidents and the gender characteristics of the stress response of road accident participants. The need is emphasized to assess the rehabilitation potential in the organization of medical and psychological support of participants of road accidents, as well as taking into account the premorbid features of the personality of participants of road accidents to improve the quality of assistance to victims of accidents.
