Key aspects of transportation logistics in the COVID-19 pandemic

The article reveals the main trends in the development of the logistics concept in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, the main elements of the functioning of road transport enterprises are highlighted to ensure a competitive position in the market. Analyzed the main trends in the transport logistics market before the appearance of the coronavirus pandemic and in the process of its occurrence. Particular emphasis is placed on the dynamics of freight turnover and transportation of goods in Russia by mode of transport in recent periods. The volumes of transported goods by type of transport have been determined. A number of challenges for transport logistics in the context of COVID-19 are presented, taking into account the characteristic features of the domestic market, on the basis of which a number of proposals have been developed for adapting road transport enterprises in the fleeting conditions of the modern market.
