The article presents a comparative analysis of the key indicators of the BRICS countries' economic development. GDP and GNI statistics are summarized and analyzed for each BRICS country, their dynamics are calculated, and the reasons for changes are highlighted. Based on the analysis of the key indicators of economic development, the leading economies are identified within the BRICS.
