The key problems of access of economic entities of the Russian agro-industrial complex to financial resources

Nowadays, the Russian agro-industrial complex is underfunded; it has a negative impact on its competitiveness, its place on the global market and hinders the existing drivers of growth and development. The amount of financial resources attracted to the Russian agribusiness sector should increase. In this regard, the authors believe that it is necessary to identify factors that restrict the access of the economic entities of the Russian agro-industrial complex to financial resources impeding the inflow of capital into the industry that ensures the country’s food security. These factors include the lack of information support and information closeness of government bodies, the high requirements for borrowers, the lack of an integral system of tax benefits, the unfavorable macroeconomic and geopolitical situation, the underdevelopment of the institution of credit cooperation, the problem of land relations, the high systematic risks, the ineffective insurance system, the lack of free legal support for funding transactions for small economic entities, as well as other factors that should be leveled.
