The article presents a review of the collection of articles "V.D.", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding researcher in the field of library sociology Valeria Dmitrievna Stelmakh. The analysis made it possible to identify the contribution of this publication to the history of librarianship, to the history of the development of library sociology as one of the library and information sciences that are important for the development of the industry.
