Books of memory of the repressed Russian Germans: features of the historiographical model

The article focuses on the memory books of repressed Russian Germans created in the Gedenkbuch project. The purpose of the publication is to define a conceptual model of the content of books of memory for the reconstruction of a historically objective picture of the phenomenon of political repression and perpetuation of the memory of victims. As a methodological tool used the concept of a historiographic model, involving the identification of issues, methodology, source study basis and the author’s concepts that emerged as a result of the study. The content of this concept has defined the tasks of the work. The essence of the proposed conceptual model is an integrated approach to the problem of public rehabilitation, based on the study of primary sources, an interdisciplinary approach and the methodology of electronic databases. The publicity of books of memory, their openness on the Internet contributes to the formation of an international electronic databank on the history of repression and personalities of the repressed.
