Books collections of mass libraries in besieged Leningrad

The article is devoted to analyze of books collections of state mass libraries in the besieged Leningrad. The composition of books collections in the context of kinds of documents are characterized. The basic acquisition sources are determined. The main reasons of significant loss of books during the period of the siege of Leningrad are accented.
