Book vending machines as a tool for popularizing reading among young people

Given the declining interest of young people in reading and the growing consumption of simplified information, the search for new mechanisms for the popularization of literature is becoming an urgent task. The article proposes a business model for the distribution of book products through vending machines integrated into educational institutions. The author substantiates the socio-economic effectiveness of this approach, combining commercial mechanisms with an educational function. The research is based on an analysis of reading practices and modeling the interaction of publishers, libraries and educational institutions.
