Coadaptation of Black Sea cross-crops Beroe ovata mayer and Mnemiopsis leidyi A. Agassiz

Бесплатный доступ

The assessment of the coadaptation of the Black Sea ctenophora invaders is based on data from underwater observations on the inner shelf of the Black Sea (Gelendzhik) and laboratory experiments. The relationship between the dynamics of water temperature in the coastal zone of the sea, the percentage of breeding individuals of the population and the average reproduction rate of Mnemiopsis leidyi during the breeding season (April-December) is shown. The population of nemiopsy has time to complete the main multiplication before the mass appearance of the predator Beroe ovata.
