When did the scriptures and tradition become sacred? On the history of the terminology of the Russian orthodox theology

The article examines the history of the formation of the terms “Holy Scripture” and “Sacred Tradition” in the theological tradition of the Russian Orthodox Church. As a result of the review of sources, the periodization of the history of the terms under consideration is established, and their dependence on trends in the presentation of the doctrine of the sources of Revelation in Russian academic theology is shown.
