Kokel graves in the valley of the river Eerbek in Tuva

The article is devoted to the introduction into scientific circulation of materials Kokel cultures obtained during the investigation in 2011 of archaeological sites in the valley river Eerbek in Tuva in the area of railway construction Kuragino-Kyzyl. As a result of excavation of burial grounds Аk-Dag-1 and Bay-Dag-1 in embankments of barrows separate burials and inlet tombs with burial places of adults and the child were open. In let tombs have been made in embankments of Scythian barrows. Died are focused by a head on northwest, in area of a skull there were ceramic vessels. Near to a tomb of a barrow 3 burial grounds Аk-Dag-1 there was a ritual object: ceramic vessels blocked by a stone plate. The stock is submitted by ceramic vessels, iron a tip and a grinding stone without an aperture for suspension. Ceramic vessels are typical for Kokel objects. Designs of sepulchral and intra sepulchral constructions of the investigated burial grounds also are characteristic for all period of existence Kokel cultures. They allow to date the given burials by wide chronological frameworks within the limits of first half I thousand of our era. In the ethnocultural plan they concern to the Central Tuva variant Kokel cultures.
