The annulate armour, originating from the casual finds from Kosh-Agach area of Altai Republic, is considered in the article. The chain armour has an original cut, an appearance system and it is of considerable scientific interest. It's fashioned in the form of the sleeveless «waistcoat» with the short breast and longitudinal sections, also with the slit on its right side. On the base of typological analysis the chain armour was dated Late Medieval and Early New Ages, and associated with the complex of arms of the warriors of Southern Siberia and Central Asia. Most likely that it was made in Dzungaria in the second half of XVII - first half of XVIII centuries. Judging by the features of the cut, the chain armour was worn over the «soft» wadded armor with the sleeves («olbok»).
