Collective and state farms of Buryatia during the period of agrarian reforms in the 1950s-1960s of the 20th century

The article attempts to clarify the activities of collective and state farms of Buryatia during the period of agrarian reforms. We have analyzed the facilities and resources of agriculture in the republic, its share in the gross agricultural output of Eastern Siberia. The article considers the process of consolidation of collective farms and their transformation into state farms, shows the activities in agriculture and animal husbandry, the changes in the forage base due to an increase in the production of succulent fodder. We have paid attention to the issues of training agricultural personnel at Buryat Agricultural Institute.
