Mathematical models for calculation of the crystal lattice enthalpy and the ion hydration enthalpy have been improved by introduction of the coefficient taking into account the electronic structure of complex forming ion. For hexaammine complexes of 3d-element halides the quantitative correlation of crystallographic and thermochemical properties has been shown.
