Quantitative and qualitative methods in political science

This article examines the role of quantitative and qualitative methods in the political science, as well as the features of each approach. Definitions of such concepts as "quantitative methods" and "qualitative methods" are given. An analysis of the advantages and limitations of quantitative methods is conducted. Emphasis is placed on qualitative methods, which provide a deep understanding of the political context and motivations. Examples of the use of these methods are given.
