Quantitative analysis ethnic processes in the Ural-Volga region: evolution and results

The article analyzes the use of quantitative methods in conducting ethnological research. We consider the origin and stages of development of the statistical and ethno ethnography, showing their similarities and differences. The urgency of studying the quantitative methods are relatively small units ethnos living in inoetnichnoy environment, taking into account the increase in the processes of assimilation and disappearance of traditional culture.
