On an example of melanoma-16 it was shown feasibility of using radioiodine-labeled 5-iodo-2'-deoxyuridine (IdUrd) for early (48h) individual noninvasive radiotherapy response (x-ray, thermal neutrons and the combined effect of thermal neutrons and 10BSH) by measuring the rate of removal of radioactive label from a tumor and finding the relationship between this parameter and parameters of tumor growth change, portion of survived tumor volume after radiation therapy or the degree of DNA synthesis suppression of tumor cells.
