Quantitative dynamics of publications of Russian scientists-economists during 2011-2020. has been characterized. There is a steady upward trend in the publication activity of researchers publishing articles in scientific journals on the topic “Economics. Economic Sciences". Economists from leading Russian universities in economics (NRU HSE, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, REU named after G.V. Plekhanov) significantly intensified their publication activities during 2011-2020.
