The article presents a brief history of Kolomenskoye during the Patriotic war of 1812. Kolomenskoye - the Romanovs' country Palace residence. It was occupied by units of the French army: the vanguard of marshal I. Murat and the cavalry of general Yu. Poniatowskij. During the occupation, the historical monument of the ancient palace village was seriously damaged.
