Personal communicative competence: correlation with views of J. Habermas

The article attempts to comprehend the resources of communication theory of J. Habermas and identify possible application of its postulates for the study of personal communicative competence in the modern Russian society. The Habermas's reasoning of the correlation of social interactions and moral development of communicating parties are reflected in his concepts of “levels of interaction” and “levels of moral development” and correlated with the concept of “levels of development of personal communicative competence”.
