The article deals with the communicative processes occurring in online-space, which organize a modern society in a specific way and represent an important element of the political reality. The author emphasizes the role of information technologies and studying of a degree of their mastering by a person in the modern political world. The special attention is paid to the theoretical aspects of the political reality concept.
