The article is a part of the research program studying the modern mechanisms of culture transmission in the context of digital communication media development. The focal point of the article is concerned with universal communicative formulas, analyzed in the framework of R. Dawkins’ theory of memes. The highly significant role of the memes for socialization and enculturation is justified. The scientific relevance of the research deals with the new object of cultural anthropological study. Applying the methods of historic and cross-cultural comparative analysis, the author studies English, Chinese, Japanese and Russian communicative cultures.
