Competence and competent approach in vocational education

Theoretical and historical-pedagogical premises of the competence-based approach in vocational education are considered. The place of the competency-based approach in the system of well-known methodological approaches has been determined. The relationship between the concepts of "competence" and "quality of education" is revealed.
