Communication competence as a factor of the family self-determination development of boys and girls

One of the reasons of the contemporary family’s dysfunctions is a low degree of the communication competence. Development of the abilities of the interpersonal communication contributes to the optimization of the youth’s family self-determination: propagation of the marriage and family values, aspiration for the fulfillment of the family roles (parent, wife, husband, host, hostess), updating of the motives to be united in marriage. When assessing correlation between communication skills, interpersonal cooperation features and components of the family self-determination the boys and girls have both common and specific features.
