Computed tomography in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis

Presented CT signs of interstitial and necrotizing pancreatitis, as well as the possibility of CT in the diagnosis of its complications - acute peripancreatic fluid collection, acute necrotic collesctions, pseudocysts, walled-off necrosis and infectious complications. It is shown that ultrasound is an effective method in early stage of acute interstitials pancreatitis. CT should be used for the diagnosis of destructive forms of pancreatitis, and early detection of complications.
