A complex for studying the device, diagnostic methods and the basics of repairing automatic transmissions

The Automotive Department of Pskov State University has started developing and constructing training equipment intended for studying automatic transmission. The equipment includes stands, that allow studying individual elements of the unit, their joint layout, their operation as a part of the unit, methods of diagnostics and basics of repair. The article presents the developed and manufactured stands, as well as not yet manufactured stands developed at the level of structural units. The articles also presents a concept of a universal stand, intended for diagnostics and test runs of automatic gearboxes, that are based on volumetric transmission and a universal loading device.
