Methodological bases have been developed for the integration of interdisciplinary methods for the purpose of monitoring hydrotechnical structures, which allow to implement the principle of multi-scale: from structural grains of the skeleton of soils (millimeters) to the object as a whole (tens of kilometers). An important requirement for the integration of works is to take into account economic constraints in order to reduce the costs of carrying out them. A practical example of the implementation of the methodology of monitoring filtration processes and revealing the mechanism of infiltration of surface water basin waters into the quarry is given. Monitoring of hydraulic structures based on the integration of interdisciplinary methods has been implemented at the main mining enterprises of the Kola Peninsula, taking into account the structure of the costs of carrying out works and their economic importance.
